Wooden Jar by Bastien Dunand
As an artist, explorer, and lover of art, I hope to connect other artists and art enthusiasts. This is a place for the work of friends; artists that I admire, whose work I am excited to share with you here in the Artists’ Cafe.

Bastian Dunand is a french carpenter that I met while I was walking the Camino de Santiago in 2007. His work ranges from small scale projects such as wooden jars, clocks, tables and chairs, to larger scale projects such as custom design stair cases and bathrooms. Bastian utilizes beautiful wood in his projects that he finds in the French Alps where he lives. In 2008 I had the pleasure of visiting his home and family run shop in Chamonix where much of his work is on display and for sale.
Emily Scott Pack is a photographer, painter, and multimedia artist living in Iwakuni, Japan. Emily and I met and became good friends when we were living and teaching in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2007. In 2009 she invited me to perform at her wedding in her home town, Alexander City, Alabama. Her mix of American and Asian influence and her unique use of encaustics, makes her work like nothing I've ever seen.

Woodland Reflection by Diana Helzer
Diana Helzer is a painter living in Boulder, Colorado. She is also a former co-worker and neighbor of mine, and a very good friend. Last year I played at her gallery opening for a show primarily inspired by the changing aspens in Colorado.

Tabula Rasa by Charles Dufour
Chalres Dufour is owner and photographer at Indigo Gallery in Belfast, Maine. I met Charlie years ago when I was studying at Colby and would visit the art filled coast. When I'm in Maine, I love to visit Indigo Gallery to play show openings, work in the gallery or just catch up with Charlie.

Chopping Blocks by Damon Cotter
My brother Damon is a woodworker who specializes in doors, both interior and entry, kitchen cabinets, built-ins and vanities, beds and tables. He also makes wooden earrings and jewelry boxes. I am often wearing Damon's handmade earrings and always have a selection with me for sale.

Coral Knotz Necklace by Allison Hertzberg
Allison Hertzberg is a New York native now living in Manhattan. Her love has always been fashion and design; I still sport her original guitar pick earrings that she made for me my freshman year of college when we were roommates. She now has an entire collection of unique jewelry to check out on her new website. Get your style on and enjoy Accessories by ASH.

To exalt, enthrone, establish and defend, To welcome home mankind's mysterious friend
Wine, true begetter of all arts that be; Wine, privilege of the completely free;
Wine the recorder; wine the sagely strong; Wine, bright avenger of sly-dealing wrong,
Awake, Ausonian Muse, and sing the vineyard song! By thee do seers the inward light discern;
By thee the statue lives, the Gods return. When the ephemeral vision's lure is past
All, all, must face their Passion at the last. So touch my dying lip: so bridge that deep:
So pledge my waking from the gift of sleep, And, sacramental, raise me the Divine:
Strong brother in God and last companion, Wine.
